Each year the North American Packaging Association recognizes excellence and creativity in packaging. This year, as in previous years, Mason was recognized with 3 design awards.
The first award was for a package designed and manufactured by Mason for Nuvo Vino, a Colorado-based company that developed the first non-contact infrared thermometer that measures the temperature of wine in the bottle before it is opened. The box featured a unique angled top that emphasized the uniqueness of the product.
The second and third awards, in 2 different categories, were for a box for a keepsake presentation book, recognizing donors to the University of Mississippi, whose gifts exceeded one million dollars. The presentation box featured unique double French-doors with tassel pulls using the “Ole Mississippi” school colors.
